David Reingold
Senior Vice President
David (Dave) Reingold is based in New York and serves as senior vice president at Burson Buchanan. With deep expertise in corporate and crisis communications, Dave provides strategic counsel to clients navigating a range of special situations and complex reputational challenges such as contested and friendly M&A transactions, major capital markets and liquidity events, shareholder activism defense, cybersecurity issues, litigation, regulatory headwinds and other business-critical inflection points along the value creation timeline. He has a strong track record of advising clients across financial services, technology, industrials and both Fortune 500 and early-stage organizations.
Prior to joining Burson Buchanan, Dave served as vice president of Corporate Communications at the Bank of New York (BNY), where he managed media relations and led transformation communications.
Dave also previously held the role of vice president at Longacre Square Partners, where he advised C-suite leaders and corporate boards on communications strategies related to M&A, shareholder activism and proxy contests.
Dave started his career at Sard Verbinnen & Co. (now FGS Global), where he advised clients on a wide range of high-stakes matters, including cross-border transactions, IPOs, activism preparedness and defense, executive changes and litigation matters.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
