Chris Judd

Chris leads Burson Buchanan’s sustainability consultancy, offering virtual CSO services, structuring sustainability programs, and shaping ESG communications campaigns for clients across all sectors which include privately owned businesses and companies listed on stock exchanges worldwide. He brings deep expertise in embedding economic sustainability and navigating both regulatory and voluntary frameworks.

Chris works closely with portfolio companies of some of the world’s largest private equity firms, conducting due diligence and crafting sustainability value creation narratives throughout the investment cycle. He is especially skilled at advising management teams and boards on sustainability strategy, and coordinating technical workstreams such as decarbonization and net zero initiatives grounded in robust data systems.

Chris joined Buchanan in 2016 and has contributed to numerous IPOs, M&A transactions, and the shaping of capital markets stories for relevant audiences. Previously, he worked in BP’s sustainability team and brings additional experience in investor relations at a FTSE250 engineering firm, as well as serving as a sustainability consultant at one of Europe’s largest communications agencies.
