Ben Romney

Ben is the partner for energy, where he leads Burson Buchanan’s specialist energy sector advisory practice. Since joining in 2005, he has been instrumental in establishing Burson Buchanan as a leading communications adviser within the energy industry.

With extensive experience across all facets of communications, Ben provides senior-level counsel in financial PR, corporate communications and crisis management. He has worked with a diverse range of clients across the full energy sector spectrum, from advising National Oil Companies (NOCs) on complex crisis management scenarios, to guiding International Oil Companies (IOCs) through significant transactions, and supporting AIM and Main Market clients on their successful growth journeys.

He has overseen mandates/projects for clients including Afentra, Altrad, Hunting, Meren, OEG Group, Rhino Resources and Vaalco Energy.
