Marney Jones

Marney Jones is based in Chicago, Illinois and serves as an Account Executive at Burson Buchanan. She provides strategic communications support to public and private companies across a range of industries, including technology, health care, insurance, and financial services. Marney specializes in messaging development, research and analysis, and media monitoring, supporting clients through both day-to-day communications needs and higher-stakes situations.

Marney’s representative experience includes supporting Google Cloud with ongoing corporate communications and public affairs; advising Comcast on its spinoff of select cable television networks; assisting an Ivy League university with issues management and litigation support; and supporting a statewide nonprofit health insurer through a CEO transition and contentious network negotiations with high-profile hospital systems. She has also worked with a for-profit health insurance company on a profile-raising campaign and complex network negotiations.

Prior to joining Burson Buchanan, Marney began her career at H/Advisors Abernathy, where she supported corporate and financial communications clients across a variety of assignments. Marney holds a B.A. in Integrated Marketing and Communications from Pepperdine University.
